Director's Note

I would like to express my thanks to the Board of Directors for this opportunity to bring another classic farce to the CCS stage. Boeing, Boeing is a 1960's comedy written by French playwright Marc Camoletti. Although it had a short life on Broadway, Boeing, Boeing holds the record for being the longest running comedy in the history of French theatre (over 35 years!).

The story is about a French architect in Paris. Bernard has everything - a great job; a penthouse bachelor pad; a maid, and a fiancée ... or two ... or three. Boeing, Boeing is a fast paced farce that might remind you of a Three Stooges movie. You may remember the 1965 movie version by the same name, starring Tony Curtis (Bernard) and Jerry Lewis (Robert).

I wish to thank all the members of my cast, my assistant director Erin (Cinderella), and crew for all their hard work. I would also like to thank my wife, Joan, for allowing me to take the time to do JUST ONE MORE SHOW. After playing the King in Cinderella and Ben Franklin in 1776, I am playing this one from the wings.
