Notes from the Director

Cinderella is probably my favorite fairy tale ever. One of my most precious memories I have is my Great-Grandmother taking my sister and I to see Disney's movie Cinderella. I remember thinking that my grandmother must have some some kind of magic because she was just so special to me. Having this production for my first attempt at directing is a special memory in many ways. Sometimes, I think she must have had a hand or been around helping doing her special magic for me.

The first bit of magic is having a talented group players. This show wouldn't be what it is without them. The second bit of magic is having such a wonderful set and painting crew. Thank you all so much. The third bit of magic is my family. I want to thank my husband, Mike, for being so understanding and patient with me; my son Jim, for growing up to be the talented person he is; and my daughter Cyndi, for understanding my hectic schedule this summer. Ya'll are my magic.

Thank you Clinton County Showcase for giving me the opportunity to spread my wings a little bit. I hope all of you will enjoy watching the production of Cinderella as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you.
