A Note From The Director:

First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you for coming to tonight's performance of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"! The cast and crew have put a great deal of work into the show you are about to see, and I know they will impress you.

When I signed on to direct this show, a lot of people said I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Well, in many ways they were right. I had no idea how fulfilling it could be to see your ideas come to life onstage, and I had no idea that I would make such great friends through this process. This show has been the most rewarding thing I have done in my life. Granted, I am only 19 years old, but I still think that is pretty substantial.

I want to thank my wonderful cast for being so amazing; for putting up with me and for always being willing to help at every turn, they truly are the greatest actors I have ever had the privilege of working with. I want to thank Pat and Roger for making the impossible possible; they never cease to amaze me. Thank you to Deb who I am convinced can find anything. Thanks to Pam, Nif and especially Lynne for the beautiful costumes. I would like to thank Mike and Erin for all the helpful advice and making the show look and sound great. And a huge thanks to Lauren who is not only my assistant director, but my best friend. There is no way I could have done this without her. Thanks especially to Nif and Steve for supporting me and answering all my questions along the way. Thanks to Paul for keeping me grounded, and to my family; John, Candice, and Chelsey for the never ending support and love. And finally, thank you to my mother who is the strongest person I know and an endless supply of inspiration.

I hope that all of you enjoy the show as much as we enjoy presenting it you!
