DIRECTOR’S NOTES

I need to thank so many people I don’t know where to begin. I guess I’ll start with the cast. Thank you to everyone in the cast. You have made this the best experience of my 27 years of community theatre. Never have I worked with a cast as talented, dedicated, hard working and energetic. Special thanks to Jenny Mondt and the others who helped put the orchestra together. As usual, thanks to Deb Stratmann for her behind the scenes support. Thanks to Marlene Hoeflich for lending us a treasured family heirloom – the violin case. Thanks to Lynn Gebhardt for donating her time as rehearsal pianist – we hope you have a speedy recovery. Thanks to my family for indulging me my two favorite past times – theatre and dance. Thanks to Mater Dei, Centralia Cultural Society, and Lynn Huelsmann for costumes. Thanks to Lynn Venhaus, the founder of CCS, for her assistance with casting this wonderful show. I wish also to acknowledge the Klostermann Family for their never ending support of community theatre. Never have I seen an entire family dedicated to this extent. At any rehearsal you could find not only Klostermann cast members, but Klostermann spouses, kids, and significant others. A Klostermann is always there to give support, guidance, and friendship. Thanks.
