Betty reported that an additional deposit was made totaling $490.00 that included season ticket purchases for holiday gifts. Betty also reported that we received a $100.00 donation from a “Dennis Keevan fan”. It was decided he will be listed as a 2007 member no tickets needed as he lives out of the area, Betty will give the info to Dustin.
Betty opened the mail to find some various thank you notes.
PRODUCTION REPORT - In Rachel’s absence Steve reported some old business: Rachel sent new season Director Applications and the CCS Policies and Guidelines to the Directors. The Christmas choral is set for Jan 7, 2007 at 2 pm at St Anthony’s in Beckemeyer. Jennifer Klostermann, Producer of “It’s a Wonderful Life” sent her final report on the show. Good auditions, had a cast of 23, tight back stage, but good weather allowed the preshow outside, expenses were kept low, she believed the named show helped the numbers of crowd. It was an all around great show.
New Business: Lori Wahl, Producer of Bathroom Humor reported all is going well, great auditions as well, full cast and rehearsals are moving along smoothly. Pat Kreher is helping with sets with Bruce Bowman and Charlie Huelsmann as Director and Ass Dir.
The 07—08 Production planning meeting is set for Feb 4th, 2007 at 1pm. Be aware it is Super Bowl and Bathroom Humor has a rehearsal. A question was brought up in regards to the dates of the shows at the park…were they approved with the city and the park board? They were attempted, but at this time, no one is scheduling any ball games yet.
PRODUCTION SUPPORT – Deb Stratmann reported that ASA will be using the theatre on Jan 31, 2007 for Red Ribbon Week; Deb will be there and will take care of their needs.
Deb was offered pianos from Mater Dei, are we interested? Mike will view them and decide if they are classic enough or antique etc. for our purposes and let Deb know, also where could they be stored?
Also, a 1960’s TV with cabinet from Jim Astroth has been donated. Debbie will store at strato span with the least amount of exposure to it.
Usher/concession online? Working or worthwhile? Yes, it was fine. We will continue for the next show.
New Lights proposal/bid $20,306.48 was brought up for discussion. Much comparison and contrast and discussion ensued. What is needed, what do we want, can we just add to our current items? Lori Wahl made a motion to table, Mike Huelsmann 2nd, motion accepted to table the purchase or acceptance of the new light proposal/bid.
Steve, and Mike suggest that we take a look at what we have, what we need and what we want for indoor and outdoor purposes and decide what purchase we need to make. After adjourning, plans are to look at what we have and make a game plan for the future.
BOX OFFICE/NEWSLETTER– Jenny Gillespie needs articles for the newsletter.
